Mon nom de domaine est www.lignepapilles.com cette adresse renvoie actuellement sur l'adresse de canalblog mais en cas de passage sur une plateforme autonome mes liens sont déjà renseignés sur cette adresse, ce qui facilite mon déménagement éventuel...

Le coût pour la prise en charge et l'installation du nom de domaine (un seul en .com, .fr, .net ou autres et selon disponibilité) est de 30€ par an. Vous pouvez le faire vous même si vous avez les connaissances informatiques requises.
Quels sont les intérêts de posséder son propre nom de domaine
- c'est un peu la différence entre être locataire et être propriétaire. Imaginons que demain Canalblog change ses prestations et devienne payant... Cela ne vous convient plus, vous êtes déjà chez vous et pouvez déménager plus facilement.
- anticiper un futur déménagement en créant les référencement sur son nom de domaine plutôt que sur celui de votre hébergeur : tous les liens vers votre blog pointent vers votre adresse canalblog. En promotionnant votre adresse vous éviterez de perdre tout ce travail de longue haleine
- ça fait quand même plus pro et plus sérieux! Dans mon précédent billet, c'est clairement dit par Jakob Nielsen : un jour cela nuira d'avoir son adresse finissant par celle d'un hebergeur
- ça vous donne une exclusivité, et personne ne peut occuper votre nom, c'est une protection comme un copyright.
- c'est tout de même plus facile à retenir et à dire lignepapilles.com plutôt que lignepapilles.canalblog.com!
- pour les adresses mails c'est un peu le même esprit et cela évite quand c'est le cas d'avoir son adresse perso délivrée à n'importe qui. Deux adresses cela permet de distinguer les mails liés au blog et ceux liès à une vie différente de celle du blog.
